Continuing Education for Mental Health Professionals

Embodied Mind’s integrative training model supports mental health professionals across all disciplines in continuing their education. We regularly host live virtual workshops that cover a wide array of treatment modalities and theoretical frameworks. Our trainings are offered to and attended by mental health counselors, social workers, psychologists, and students from all over the world.

In addition, we offer a suite of high-caliber self-study courses, which can be found on our training website: embodiedmind.thinkific.com.

We are approved providers of continuing education requirements for New York-based LMHCs, LCSWs, and LMSWs.

Internship Training Program

Embodied Mind Mental Health offers students pursuing a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling  a comprehensive, trauma informed, 600 hour clinical internship. Based on a developmental, integrative, and experiential training model, the clinical internship equips Mental Health Counseling students to cultivate and develop their professional identity, administrative diligence, and clinical prowess. Interns work as clinicians and are integral members of the treatment team. Individual and group supervision, weekly in-service training, clinician-to-intern mentorship, and community engagement are all components to training. Embodied Mind Mental Health has partnered with several academic institutions in the greater New York City area to recruit highly qualified students for this program.
